Adductor Stretch - Sitting
This sitting adductor stretch, or sitting groin stretch, stretches the short groin muscles, which do not cross the knee joint.
- The groin muscles are stretched by sitting with the soles of the feet together as shown.
- A downward force is applied from the elbows, until a stretch is felt high up in the groin.
- This should not cause pain! If pain is felt, stop immediately.
- Hold for 20-30 seconds, rest and repeat 2-3 times.
